Tina graduated with a diploma as a social pedagogue from the University of Applied Science – Bielefeld in November of 2004. While studying, Tina worked as a sport therapist with children with autism and other developmental delays at the “v. Bodelschwinghsche Institutions Bethel”, Europe’s largest institution for children and adults with disabilities. From August to November 2003, Tina also spent time volunteering at the “Gabriella Centre” in Cape Town, South Africa offering daycare to physically and mentally challenged children including those with autism. After a year of working at an international organization for developmental cooperation supporting projects for children in need all over the world, Tina spent several months working in a home for the mentally challenged supporting persons with autism as a pedagogic therapist from June to December 2006. In 2006 Tina began working as a one-to-one “in-home” tutor for two children supported by Knospe-ABA. In 2007 Tina began the consultant training under the direct supervision of Robert Schramm, M.A., BCBA. In all those years, Tina participated in several different workshops, i.e. 3-day Verbal Behavior Workshop of Dr. Vincent J. Carbone in Wales in March of 2007, 4-day advanced Verbal Behavior workshop presented by Holly Kibbe, BCBA and Cherish Twigg, BCBA of Establishing Operations Inc. in London in April of 2007, Motor Speech Workshop by Elizabeth Kuegeler, MA, CCC-SLP, PROMPT Certified Instructor. Additionally, in March of 2011 Tina participated in the workshops “Language for Living” presented by Patrick McGreevy Ph.D., BCBA, “Teaching ABA in Small Groups” and “Crisis Prevention Intervention” (CPI), presented by Shiri Bartman, MA, BCBA & Jennifer Donnelly, BCaBA. In November 2014 Tina participated in the workshop “Using Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior Strategies to Improve Autism Programming for both Toddlers and Teens with Autism”, presented by Mary Barbera, PhD, RN, BCBA-D in Cologne. In 2017 Tina attended Laura Ferguson’s workshop “Teaching Communication and Social Skills to Children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities”. From 2013 till 2015 Tina completed the BACB approved coursework on ABA from the IFKV (www.ifkv.de) in Bad Dürkheim in cooperation with the University of North Texas (UNT). Tina passed her BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) exam in December of 2015. Tina is a valuable team member and is supervising several Knospe-ABA consultants next to being a close contact for the cost coverage agencies.
