Maja was born in Germany, but lived in the US from 2009 to 2023, where she gained her first experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder in 2013, when she accepted a position as an ABA therapist and was able to work closely with a variety of families to help them support their children. While working, Maja completed her Bachelor of Psychology degree at Pennsylvania State University in 2015. While in college, Maja completed training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and was responsible for training RBT candidates. Maja received her Master of Science in Behavior Analysis from Simmons University in Boston in 2019. That same year, she passed the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam and as such was allowed to train RBTs and administer the tests necessary for certification. As a BCBA, Maja has taken advantage of numerous continuing education opportunities and has learned from experts such as Dr. Linda LeBlanc, Dr. Greg Hanley, and Dr. Steven Hayes, among others. Maja lives and works in central Germany, where she supports children with autism spectrum disorders as well as other developmental delays.
